Corporate professionals: Conduct mock interviews for IT branch students in Mysore. Paid opportunity.

Role

  • Working professionals from corporate backgrounds
  • Interviews are general, not company-specific
  • Focus on common interview topics: introduce yourself, walk through projects, strengths and experience, situational questions
  • Some students overstate skills (e.g. “front end developer” after copy-pasting HTML) — guide them kindly: help them understand what real skills entail and how to present honestly
  • ~20 min per student: review resume, ask questions, suggest changes/improvements to resume, give feedback
  • Conduct interviews for 18–20 students over the day
  • Many students are talking to industry professionals for the first time — put them at ease and make them feel welcome
  • Show them how a real interview works: the flow, what to expect, and how to present themselves
  • Keep it encouraging — build confidence and help students learn, not intimidate
